For Father's Day this year I ordered a few blank note pad blocks. My son colored the sides of one for his dad to take to work. The possibilities for a blank note pad are endless...coloring, stamping, you name it. Since he's three I just told him not to leave any white showing.

Then he colored some "wrapping paper" i.e. packing paper to wrap it up in.

He used these Crayola True To Life markers I found on the clearance rack a few months ago for $0.75. They are tri-tip markers and have three colors on each one. Looking back, I should have bought several more packages at that price. They are fun if you haven't tried them out yet.

I've been wanting to do one of those cubes for my Mom forever. I can't find those blocks anyplace in town, you said you ordered them, do you mind sharing where from? :)
ReplyDeleteGREAT projects! I love the idea of coloring the wrapping too!!
So I was just wondering if you could help me. See I have a missionary that I'm writing (he's not my boyfriend or anything...but hopefully when he gets back he will be ;)!!)I want to send him a fun package but I don't know what to put in it. Do you have any ideas?
