We thought this would be a fun idea to mail to a cousin for her birthday. So, we rolled out some paper. We have an Ikea Mala easel and the paper was the perfect size.
I traced my son's outline onto the paper.
He colored in his features.
Then we wrote, "Sending you a big hug for your birthday" and rolled it up {we kept ours a little simpler than hers}.
We thought it would be fun to mail in a tube so first the kids colored the tube.
Then we included long things we could find like punching balloons, Laffy Taffy, gum, Fruit Roll-ups and pencils.
Fun, simple birthday package.
